Add an App User

To add an app user, complete the following steps.

  1. Go to Location Groups.

  2. Select the location group’s name.

  3. In the App Users section, select the Add icon.

  4. Enter the user’s email address.

  5. Enter the user’s first and last name.

  6. Select an authority level:

    • To allow the user to manage multiple locations, set the user’s authority level to Administrator.

    • To allow the user to manage a single location, set their authority level to Standard.

  7. If you want to email the user video clips, select Email Video Clips.

  8. Select the locations and permissions that you want your user to have authority to access.

  9. Select Save.

After you add an app user in Security Command, the user will be sent a welcome email with a link to finish setting up their account by creating a password.
