Digital Key Credentials

This section covers how an Administrator purchases Digital Key credentials for a location group in Security Command. These steps should be completed after the compatible NFC multi-technology reader is installed.

To purchase and issue credentials in Security Command, you need an Administrator role.

Enable Digital Key Credentials

To enable a pool of reusable Digital Key Credentials, complete the following steps:

1. Go to Location Groups.

2. Select the location group name.

3. At the top of Location Group Summary, select Edit.

4. Scroll to the bottom of the page. Go to Digital Key Credentials and select the checkbox to enable the credentials.

5. Next to Number of credentials, use the plus + and minus - buttons to adjust the number of reusable credentials you want to enable. You can select credentials in increments of 5, ranging from 5 to 1,000 credentials.

6. In the Select which location to integrate drop-down menu, select the location you wish to invoice the credentials to for a recurring monthly charge.

7. At the top of the page, select Save.

8. Notify your location group that you completed their purchase.

If you wish to delete a location that is set as the current integrator location, you will be prompted to choose a new location to invoice the credentials to for a monthly charge. To choose a new integrator location, complete the following steps:

1. Go to Location Groups.

2. Select the location group name.

3. In the row of the location that you want to delete, select the More icon.

4. Select Delete.

5. If the location is set as the current integrator location, a dialog box displays to choose an alternative location for the Digital Key credentials to be billed to.

6. In Digital Key Credential, select the new location to invoice the monthly charge in the drop-down menu.

7. Select Save to delete the current location and set the new location to bill the credentials to.
